CNC Turning


Our wide range of CNC Turning Centres allows us to produce a multitude of varied, high precision components. We can cater for one off, bespoke parts or repeat batch work. We can produce parts From 2mm up to 400mm diameter.

CNC Milling


We have a range of 3 and 4-axis milling machines suitable for the machining of a variety of materials and sizes of parts.
Parts programming can be carried out off-line (using Solid Cam) enabling the process to be simulated and verified for optimum tool paths, prior to the machining of any material. This ensures that we can make the parts on a number of machines, without having to re-programme.
Our approach to programming reduces the overall programming and cycle time, which helps us to stay competitive on price for our customers and achieve short lead times.
Our Milling employees have a wealth of experience and knowledge, which we continue to develop on an ongoing basis.

Reverse Engineering

A  Reverse Engineer service is offered by Northumbria Engineering Limited. This is done using the latest laser scanning technology and Solidworks design software.
Reverse engineering is the process of working out how something functions, or achieving an end results by working backwards (hence the name). It is a popular method for companies that know what they want to achieve but aren't sure how to get there, or where an old part that is no longer available is required for production.
At Northumbria Engineering Limited, we have the experience, expertise and technology to reverse engineer almost anything, in fact we love a challenge and getting stuck in to a project of this nature is something that we absolutely love. Northumbria Engineering Limited began operations in 1992 designing and building special purpose machines, jigs and fixtures, sub contract machining from our 3000 sq ft factory on Blyth Riverside Business Park.

If you require a piece of special purpose equipment we work closely with our customers through the initial design specification right through to installation and commissioning.
